Emma

Hi I’m Em. I am an experienced Early Years Leader and Teacher of 11 years. I have a love and passion for Early Years and successfully led a team at a school in Bury St Edmunds. I believe children should learn in a child centred environment, where they are immersed in a range of rich and stimulating experiences which they can enjoy, explore and engage with; enabling them to foster a love of learning that will stay with them throughout their lives. I employ an imaginative and creative approach.  My beliefs will reflect in providing enjoyable, successful sensory classes for Mums and Babies to enjoy and make memories together.

I have two beautiful children and a supportive husband. I have personally enjoyed many baby sensory classes during my Maternity Leave and now cannot wait to meet lots of new mums and babies and have fun and share my love and passion with them all.

Kayleigh

Hi I’m Kayleigh.  Over the past 12 years I have worked with young children within a school environment and also with 0-3 year olds within a nursery setting.  I have a passion for Early Years and enjoy creating fun and stimulating environments for your little one to socialise and explore moving their development and learning forwards.  The first year with your new baby is such a special time and I believe in providing classes that encourage, engage and give parents practical ideas for creative play that can be repeated at home.

Like Em, I am a Mummy of two beautiful children and during my maternity leave attended many groups from singing to messy play.  I believe that we have combined all the ‘best bits’ from our personal experiences and knowledge of Early Years to create a truly lovely experience for you and your baby.

Louise

Hi I’m Louise. I have taught in the Early Years Foundation Stage for 13 years. I am a firm believer in active learning and providing exciting and stimulating experiences for very young children. I love to see how quickly babies and children can learn, develop and progress when they have opportunities to engage with activities that they can explore using all of their senses; especially anything where they can be really hands on and even get a bit messy! The first year of your baby’s life is such a special time as they change and grow so quickly; it’s a time to start making memories together and find out how your baby likes to learn and what catches their interest.

I have two boys of my own and attended lots of different classes with them when they were babies. These sessions were such an important part of my maternity leave: I was able to have some special one to one time with my little one and get to know other mums too.
I’m looking forward to combining both my passion for and experience in the Early Years to provide some super sensory classes for lots of new mums and babies.

Our mission

The importance of baby sensory

From birth through to early childhood, children use their senses to explore and try to make sense of the world around them. They do this by touching, tasting, smelling, seeing, moving and hearing. Sensory play builds nerve connections in the brain’s pathways, which lead to the child’s ability to complete more complex learning tasks.

Sensory play supports language development, fine and gross motor skills, cognitive growth, problem solving and social interaction.

This play also helps develop and enhance memory.
